At RIDE ALPHA's, our cockpits position is obsessional. In fact, the handlebar is the direct extension of your body, the first element that makes you feel the terrain variations.
As soon as you get that, it's not surprising to see us as cockpit fanatics.
The RIDE ALPHA handlebar development was based on two things:
- to offer the most intuitive shape possible.
- to simplify the handlebar adjustments in relation to the stem, but also to the brakes, shifters and other components.
Obviously, the material choice, the manufacturing and finish quality had to live up to the expectations: a top quality standard paired with an uncompromised reliability
And to make sure you don't run out of variety, we offer you to choose between seven different colors:
Dark blue, Light blue, Dark green, Light green, Purple, Orange and Red.
To meet all the demands we make of it, we chose to use Aluminum 7075 triple-butted handlebars. This high-end alloy enables to lower the weight down to 294g while offering enough reliability for a 780mm handlebar that you can easily shorten with precision thanks to its specific laser engravings.
Ergonomics constitutes the sinews of war for a handlebar, it is essential. Better than a long speech, the figures say it all:
- 5° Up Sweep
- 7° Back Sweep
- 20mm / 30mm / 38mm Rise
Basically, the bar is low for a more aggressive position on the bike, fitted to the modern bikes and handlebars setups we tested on our favorite singletracks.
To satisfy our hunger for precision, we are using laser-engravings with a specific position mark system for every single component on the bar.
Our specific tooling ensures a perfect precision ??? the time of glossy stickers is over!
Either for a removal or a replacement, you will easily find your levers position. RIDE ALPHA's positioning extremists will be thrilled!
As usual with RIDE ALPHA products, the handlebar finish with its laser engravings, polished logo associated with a micro-blazed anodized matt black finish enhances our attachment for technical and aesthetical details.
The RIDE ALPHA handlebar is the perfect match with our Freeride and Enduro stems!
